The Challenge
The Parisian Macao's VIP lounge required a dramatic fire feature that could operate 24/7 without generating heat, emissions, or requiring a chimney.

📐 1025mm Ultra-Long Linear Custom
Technical specification from the Parisian VIP lounge project — 985mm recess depth, 1025mm ultra-long linear flame, realized through Aedas Interiors' design.
Aedas Interiors' design brief for the Parisian VIP lounge demanded complete flame continuity across over one meter of linear space — uniform brightness and consistent flicker rhythm from end to end, with no perceptible "multi-segment" seams. BB Fires achieved this with a multi-point ultrasonic atomization array, dividing the 1025mm linear span into independently controlled sub-zones whose mist density transitions so smoothly they are imperceptible to the eye.
The 985mm ultra-slim recess depth required all atomization, optical, water and electrical systems to be laid out within an extremely compact space while retaining a maintenance channel. A natural black stone layer crowns the top, letting flame emerge from the "gaps" between stones to realize the "invisible flame source" design language.
The Parisian Macao is Sands China's flagship property on the Cotai Strip, with interior design by world-class firm Aedas Interiors. As their long-term fire feature partner, BB Fires has supplied a total of 10 AquaFog water vapor fireplaces across three batches since the property's 2016 opening — from the ground-floor lobby to the third-floor VIP rooms, each passing the strictest integrated resort fire inspections.
Integrated resort environments are exceptionally sensitive to open flames and heat. Our 3D water vapor technology uses ultrasonic atomization at 1.7 million high-frequency vibrations per second, combined with LED light sources to recreate authentic flame movement — zero open flame, zero heat output, zero emissions — passing Macau's strictest fire codes. The energy-efficient LED light source lasts 8,000–15,000 hours, far exceeding the 500–1,500 hours of halogen lamps. The system runs 24/7 without requiring dedicated supervision.
The black-gold marble fascia complements the Parisian's classic French aesthetic. More than a heating device, the fireplace is a status symbol for the VIP lounge. The Parisian's management praised the installation as offering "drama without the danger."
